How to use this table
- Start with capacity. Run the calculator first, then look only at models at or above your Wh number.
- Then output and surge. If you'll run a fridge, sump pump or power tools, the surge column matters more than the headline wattage.
- Weight is real. Anything over ~30 lb is a two-hand carry. For a van or tent, the small-to-mid units are far easier to live with.
- Charging temperature. Where published, these LiFePO4 units list 32°F (0°C) as the minimum charging temperature. That matters in Colorado winters. See cold & altitude.
Quick picks by need (based on published specs)
- Lightest for phones, laptop, CPAP on a weekend: Jackery Explorer 240 v2: 256 Wh, 300 W, 7.7 lb.
- Budget mid-size for a 12 V fridge plus devices: BLUETTI AC70: 768 Wh, 1,000 W, 500 W solar input.
- ~1 kWh all-rounder: Jackery Explorer 1000 v2, BLUETTI AC180, or EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus. The DELTA 3 Plus has the most solar input and is expandable. The AC180 has the most capacity of the three.
- Fridge + Wi-Fi through a full outage day: Jackery Explorer 2000 v2: 2,042 Wh, 2,200 W / 4,400 W surge.
What we left out (and why)
Whole-home systems over ~3 kWh, refurbished units, and solar-panel bundles. Bundle pricing changes daily, and bundles are hard to compare fairly. We'll add models as we verify their specs. If a spec here is wrong or out of date, the manufacturer page wins. Tell us and we'll fix it.
