Who it fits, on paper
- Van and RV owners who drive a lot. With the optional 800 W alternator charger, it can refill from the engine much faster than a 12 V socket allows (roughly 100–120 W).
- People who want to start small and grow. The extra-battery path lets a 1 kWh unit become a multi-kWh outage system later.
- Solar-heavy setups. Two 500 W solar inputs (1,000 W total) is more solar input than the other ~1 kWh units in our table.
Trade-offs to weigh
- Price per Wh. On Oct 17, 2026 it listed higher than the BLUETTI AC180 ($499, 1,152 Wh) and Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 ($519, 1,070 Wh). Sale prices change weekly.
- Expansion costs extra. Extra batteries and the alternator charger are separate purchases.
- Cold charging limits. We couldn't find a published charging-temperature range on the product page. Like other LiFePO4 units, expect restrictions below freezing and check the manual.
